1月23日 Another big Birds Eye Update TodayYesterday i reported on a multi country/ hundred city update for Europe. This time our US coverage has grown - Miami, Palm Beach, Houston, Austin, Myrtle Beach, Flint, Birmingham, Montgomery, ... and dozens more cities and regions went on line in the last 24 hours. Here is a link to an updated collection of major coverage areas. Keep in mind that in most cases the cities reported here represent the major city at the center of the coverage area, which can represent hundreds/ thousands of square miles of ultra hi-res imagery. For instance here is an approximate coverage area in Central Jersey that I sketched out quickly. In the BE coverage Colelction, I have added a few major cities in the area, but as you can see coverage is contiguous across a really large area extending into Philly and NYC. Here is a nice shot of the monument at Kill Devil Hills, commemorating the Wright Brothers historic first flight, just south of Kitty Hawk North Carolina.
And here are a buch of partial coverage areas that I haven't listed in the Collection. they are either really small, or extensions to regions already listed. vHave fun exploring, and when you find something really cool be sure to submit it over at BirdseyeTourist.com.
